Before importing meters, ensure that the buildings have already been created, then add multiple meters by using the "Import meters" button. From the meter import page, download the meter import template and follow the instructions. This template is a guide to filling in the data you need to input for importing your meters on Pilio.

Proceed as follows:

• Fill in the template with the details of the meters to be imported. You can replace the meter data in the template with the data for your own meters to be imported.
• Save the file as an Excel .xlsx file.
• Click the file upload button on the meter import page. This will display the name of the selected import file next to the button.
• Finally click submit. If there are errors in your excel file, it will not be uploaded and the system will flag the errors. To avoid errors, remember to ensure the file is saved as a .xlsx file and that all mandatory fields are present. The system will upload the data, displaying a progress bar and a success message, reporting number of meters imported.
