When trying to upload the Pilio Carbon Footprint data collection workbook to Pilio, you might get an error message saying:

‘Procurement: an error occurred on line 5: No carbon conversion factor available for that impact.’

This is because either:

- there is no carbon conversion factor available for that impact,

- there is a data validation error (most likely).

To make sure that there are no data validation errors, you can:

- go to the Excel ribbon and select the "Data" tab and,

- in the "Data Tools" group, click the arrow next to "Data Validation",

- then click "Circle Invalid Data".

Excel will display a red circle around any cells that contain invalid data.

Once you have fixed all the data validation errors selecting the appropriate value, repeat the operation to make sure that you are not missing anything else.
