Automated meter readings can be integrated into Pilio for those with a serviced license or a specific agreement.

Pilio can import the data from an sFTP (secured File Transfer Protocol) and integrate the readings into Pilio.

There will be some setting up required depending on where the data is stored and the format of the data.

Typically, Pilio will need to contact your Data Collector (the party that collects the smart meter high-frequency data) and/or your Energy Supplier to obtain this data. Pilio will need to be authorised by the client (the one that pays the bills for the meter) to do this.

The version of the smart meter is not relevant, rather it is important to know if you have access to your half-hourly data. This should be checked with your Energy Supplier or Data Collector as there might be additional costs for this type of service, depending on your current contract.

Where automated data imports cannot be obtained, Pilio can manually obtain data remotely on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
