Alerts

Alerts are generated when your building's consumption reaches a set or automated threshold.

How to set a specific threshold

To set up an alert threshold, navigate to your building's profile page by going to "Settings > Buildings" and clicking on a building's name. Scroll down to the "Thresholds" section and click on "Add a threshold".

When setting an alert, you can choose among all their types of monitored consumption (e.g. electricity, gas, water and more) and choose the frequency. You can get alerts for consumption based on the below frequencies:

- overnight

- daily

- weekly

- monthly

- yearly

Automated alerts are calculated based on your historic consumption. These are calculated as two times the standard variation from the mean. Please note that this will most likely flag only very abnormal consumption thus excluding any seasonality effect that might occur during the year.
