I had a meter replacement

If your physical meter was replaced, then your 'virtual' Pilio meter will need replacing too.

In order to do so, there are 3 suggested steps:

1. Create your new meter- mandatory

2. Add the final reading to your old/replaced meter - strongly suggested

3. Archive your replaced meter - suggested

1. To create your new meter:

- go to "Settings > Impacts" and select your impact category

- once selected, click on the orange button "Add a meter"

- fill in your meter details (make sure to select the correct meter unit for your new meter)

- press "Save" to create the new meter

- once the meter is created, add your initial reading. This is the reading shown in the meter on the day that the meter was activated. Check this guide on how to add a meter reading if needed.

If you are going to import meter readings, do not pick anything for "Import consumption or half-hourly data".

For full instructions on how to create a new meter, please check this page.

Now that your new meter is set, you can archive your replaced meter. This is suggested to keep your account in good shape.

In order to do an optimal meter replacement, you will have to complete the remaining optional steps:

2. add the final reading to the replaced meter. This is the reading shown in the replaced meter on the day that the meter was removed. Check this guide on how to add a meter reading if needed.

3. archive your replaced meter:

- go to "Settings > Impacts" and select your impact category

- once selected, click on the edit icon of your replaced meter

- once on the meter's edit page, scroll down until 'Hide meter' and tick this box on

- press "Save" to finish.

Note that if you skip step "2. Add the final reading of your replaced meter" the consumption between the previous reading and the meter replacement date will not be calculated.
