There are several ways to add data to the Energy tool.

Note: this FAQ is for manually adding individual meter data into the Energy tool.

• a water meter (this is the same as either gas or electricity single-dial non-digital meters)

Adding data using the online Pilio software:

From anywhere on the site, to reach the "New reading" input page, you can either:

• click the "Add new reading" icon located in the top right corner (next to your profile icon);
• click on "Data -> Buildings & Transport ->Add data".

To add a meter reading or usage:

1. select the building (optional),
2. select the meter,
3. add the reading in the "Record data" field,
4. pick a date,
5. press "Save".

You can also add a comment or upload a picture of the reading before pressing "Save".

Tips:

1. if you cannot find the meter you wish to upload a reading for, make sure that you are on the correct impact section (e.g. energy, in the right corner of the main blu navigation bar).
2. you can add data only for active meters! Meters marked as "hidden" will not appear here.
3. once you've selected the meter you wish to upload meter readings for, a box will appear with some summary information including its last reading date and value.
